Casting Announcement: Iron Ore

Jef Bérard is Iron Ore

We are happy to announce the casting of acclaimed cosplayer Jef Bérard as Iron Ore, protector of Labrador.

Addict and collector of everything Star Wars, Jef quickly made his mark in the "geek" world thanks to being a staple of events such as the Montreal Comiccon, Cosplay Québec and most importantly, the 501st Legion.

A cosplayer since 2011, he earned his stellar reputation thanks to the quality of his work, his keen sense of details and his social implication. For more details: www.facebook.com/jefkimcosplay

Casting Underway!

Casting Underway

Note to Montreal actors:

Casting is currently underway for Wild Rose: Trials and Tribulations and Terra Nova: Sum of its parts. Soon there will also be casting for Mantis, Voda, Yellow Knife, 8 Ball and Borealis minisodes.

Tell your agents to submit you or submit yourselves via the casting work book. Don't tell us you are mad at us for not letting you know at the next ACTRA party, because you have been officially and publicly warned.

Sorry if you are outside Montreal, we cannot cast outside of town unless you have local accommodations - our budget is stretched enough as it is. If you can have your own accommodation here, submit yourself with a note to that effect - otherwise you will be ignored. Thanks!

Mike Donis is Yellow Knife!

The awesome and quite dashing Mike Donis will be playing Yellow Knife in the second Season of Heroes of the North.  Besides being an actor, Mike is also a web series creator with an outrageously ambitious web series, now in its second season, Pete Winning and the Pirates.  Set in a post-apocalyptic Waterworldesque Canada, Pete Winning is an ambitious web series that renders homage to the epic adventure films we grew up on, complete with a touch of Errol Flynn.

If you have never seen Pete Winning and the Pirates, you don't know what you have been missing!

Meanwhile, we welcome Mike to our cast and we look forward to shoot his first episode!
