Heroes of the North, Archie Style!
You cannot be a fan of superhero comics and not be at least remotely aware of Archie Comics. Heck, our old pal Archie Andrews even had a run-in with the Punisher, no less! So to have a rendition of some of the HOTN characters Archie-style was definitely a no-brainer.
Dan Parent, writer and illustrator of several Archie Comics books, and more specifically creator of Kevin Keller, the first openly gay character in Riverdale, has agreed to do a cover for an upcoming comic book currently entitled Zombots getting schooled by Yann Brouillette. We met the groundbreaking writer and artist at the MegaCON in Orlando this March and we must say that it has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with the man, not to mention his Canadian (and more specifically Quebec) Connection.
The fun-filled cover is ready and features The Canadian, Fleur-de-Lys and Nordik. It is our pleasure to show it to you in all its glory:

The comic will not be online for a little while however as we have to release a Fleur-de-Lys and a Hornet story before that but you can also view the piece in higher resolution from our newly revamped Galleries or procure it from our store as a reproduction.

Our MegaCon appearance in World of Superheroes

While we were at the Orlando MegaCon, we met lots of people. Amongst them were the very nice folks over at World of Superheroes. They did a nice little piece on our booth over there. They talk about the concept, the merchandise (which seems to have left quite an impression) and the booth in general. Some excerpts:
“It was one of the most impressive booths at Megacon. The concept, the look, the enthusiasm and not least the stunning girls from the series made it different from anything else on view.”

ORLANDO MEGACON!
We will be attending the Megacon in Orlando from March 25 to 28. Come meet us there if you are in the area! Hi Everyone! Welcome to our brand new, fully redesigned website! It is perhaps less flashy but it is definitely easier to navigate and everything is easier to find - at least we would like to think so. Visit the newly revamped store and get your favourite Heroes of the North gear or dig into one of our digital comics (also available in paper in the store and pretty soon available as a download!), watch the latest episodes which you can now rate and comment, visit us in the brand new forum or get your questions answered through the FAQ section. We are at the early stage of implementation. There is a lot more to come in the next few weeks. In the meantime, explore, visit and most of all, enjoy!
